Dear Carol and Family. So sorry to hear of Arvid's passing. I have such vivid memories of Windsor Avenue and all the fun we had growing up across the street from the Anderson's. Christmas started when Santa Claus went up on the Anderson front porch. We played until dark all summer in what we referred to as the turn around. We picked wild asparagus in the apple orchard across the street, and I was routinely ditched by my brother and Tommy in the woods up the street. I remember Arvid more as an adult manning the Anderson booth at UMAGA when I was shopping for household things before we were married. The dishes are now with our older son, but the stainless flatware is with us & still looks like new and used every day.
