Thoughts & Prayers
Cal was one of my favorite teachers!!!! I would run into him at the Bloomington Ice Garden all the time when he would announce games. He always stopped in the window and gave me a wink and a wave!!!! I am so sorry for your loss!!! know that he was loved by many.
So sorry to hear about Cal's passing. He was my 5th grade teacher at Hillcrest and he had such a kind and caring demeanor. I always remember him reading to us in class, specifically a book called Daniel's Story about a holocaust survivor. It perpetuated me into a love of reading and interest in history. I am now a teacher because of it. Cal will be deeply missed and touched all he taught.
