Jim Wright, 92, of Bloomington, passed away suddenly on March 21, 2013. Preceded in death by first wife, Mary Wright and one daughter, Joyce. Jim served during WWII and then went to college at the University of North Dakota. After graduation, he moved to St. Paul after being hired by a pioneering computer company called Engineering Research Associates (ERA) where he worked on the very earliest computers developed. Wanting to share his knowledge with others, he taught at the NorthDakota State School of Science in Wahpeton and later was hired by Control Data where he worked on the Apollo space missions. After retiring in 1986, he enrolled in chef school and upon completion he began providing catering services for various organizations until retiring from that in 2012. Anyone who knew him knew he had a zest for life, was always active, and he loved Barb. He is survived by wife, Barbara (Halverson), daughters, Janet Wright, and Joanne Wright McCall (Gary Lee).
